  Excellent ice cream. I’m sure my taste experience is influenced by the ambiance. Old-school, throw back, old fashioned, time capsule... the best word to describe it is: good. It is really good. Many thanks to the guys at the counter who treated my daughter and I so kindly. Traditional flavors. Homemade in their basement. Go. Now. And often.

  Old-school ice cream parlor great burgers and onions rings. The ice cream is one of the better places around. Definitely worth checking out

  Pleasing atmosphere. Good ice cream overall, generous scoops. Can tell it's homemade. Cute old-fashioned style inside and out. Be sure to get early this place gets busy.

  Go for the history, stay for a the food! Stopped in on a Friday afternoon to see where the final scene of the Soprano’s was filmed. Sat at the counter where the Man in Members Only jacket was. Ordered the bacon cheeseburger and had some of “the best onion rings in the state”. Finished the meal off with a chocolate malt. Fantastic meal and most highly recommended!

  This is the place from the widely discussed ending of the Sopranos TV show. But Holsten's is so much more: a great diner with excellent hand made burgers and sandwiches and of course you have to try the onion rings.
  Also they offer sweets and chocolates and ice cream. Very friendly staff, nice relaxed atmosphere even during busy hours. It's obvious why Tony gathers his family in this restaurant for family dinner.
