  Awesome shop to take your vehicle too. Jimmy and the other mechanics knows what they are doing. If you want your car fixed right the first time, take it to Kars.

  My experience couldn’t have been any better. Given this was my first time taking my car anywhere but a BMW dealership, I checked the reviews and called a few places. KARS was busy (a good sign) but was also flexible and easy to work with. I believed I needed a new battery in my 2013 BMW X5 xDrivei50 and after diagnostics, Jimmy was about 90% sure the issue was the battery.
  
  Jimmy gave me the options of (i) take the steps to be 100% prior to spending any money or (ii) save time by putting in a battery. He wanted to do the former so we didn’t risk wasting money but I elected to do the latter and hope for the best.
  
  Jimmy also took a look at my tires and brakes and recommend new tires. He was really upfront that he can’t really compete on price with the online suppliers, but gave me 2-3 options to consider / order.
  
  The battery came in the same day, Jimmy called me promptly and set up a time to come in and replace it the following day. My schedule changed but thankfully Jimmy made time for me later in the afternoon.
  
  When I showed up for my appointment, they were ready to service the car — I was really happy I didn’t show up on-time to be “third in line”. The work took exactly the amount of time that Jimmy promised.
  
  I’m definitely coming back when I need brakes next year!!
  
  Note: I drove here from Chatham and it was 100% worth the drive.

  Amazing Service! I took my car to a local shop and was priced $1400 for new tire, module and sensor and had a feeling I was getting ripped off. I checked out Kars on my way home from work for a second opinion and was pleasantly surprised that I only needed to get a wheel speed sensor for less than $200! The mechanic Jimmy was super helpful and I will definitely be back again if my car needs any work done.

  The mechanics of the former High Tech Auto in Bloomfield merged their business with Kars Automotive Repair. They offer the same excellent service, affordable prices, and best of all, complete honesty with their customers. They have always done only repairs that my car genuinely needed and in the least expensive manner possible.
  
  For example, instead of forcing me to buy a new exhaust system flex pipe, which had a whole in it, but also contained the catalytic converter, they cut the damaged flex pipe out and welded a new piece in; by doing this, they saved me over $1,000. At Kars Automotive Repair, honesty is not just the best policy, it is also the only policy.
  
  I highly recommend Kars Automotive Repair to all car owners, for honest, professional service and great prices. They will fix one's car right and save one money at the same time.

  I highly recommend this establishment , they are honest and on time . They had my car ready before I had the money together to pay for it. they are not tricky tricky like other mechanics that want to take your money . I appreciate that mechanics like these still exists. thank you
