  I was writing a personal email to Dr. Rogers to thank him for the loving care he gave to my 14-1/2 year old Boston Terrier, Memphis - then it occurred to me that I should post my email so other people would know what kind of service they could expect to receive when they go to Maplewood Animal Hospital. I began taking Memphis to Dr. Rogers for her yearly checkup and immunizations about 6 years ago. Memphis loved him (and the treats he so generously provides!), and when she needed additional care and procedures as she aged, of course we looked to Dr. Rogers to take care of her. I was impressed with his knowledge and his approach - he was compassionate and friendly and clearly loves the animals he cares for. With great sadness, just last week we lost our sweet pup at the advanced age of 14-1/2. Again, Dr. Rogers provided comfort to not only our pup, but to us as well. For this, we are most grateful. When the day comes where we become parents to another dog, you can be sure that Dr. Ernie Rogers will be our vet.
  
  Update! Several months ago, we rescued a new puppy and immediately took her to Dr Rogers to be checked out. As expected, he was thorough and kind, patiently explaining what we could expect from this particular breed and how best to train and care for her. We’ve had our hands full with this energetic new pup and new issues have come up since our early appointments with Dr. Rogers; however, without fail, he takes our phone calls, listens to our questions, and offers suggestions that typically result in a solution. We think the world of Dr. Rogers and are so grateful that our Sadie will receive his loving care.

  I like that Dr. Rogers cares for his patients. He makes my doggie feel at ease before any examination. He's patient and takes his time regardless of the amount of people waiting. I like that and don't mind waiting because I know he's going to be thorough and not rush like other vets that give a quick RX and send us on our way. My doggie feels comfortable going here and that makes me happy. I highly recommend Dr. Rogers.

  I took my recently adopted rescue Gt Dane 'Gilbert' to Dr. Roger's Animal
  Hospital. Great service at great reasonable price, cheaper than anybody else around.He is willing to work with you on payments. He does not push
  unnecessary services. He is very compassionate and knowledgeable.

  Dr. Rogers is knowledgeable, kind, and clearly has the best interests of your pet at heart. My dog Indigo now loves going to the vet (and receiving all of the free treats and belly rubs I'm sure) thanks to Dr. Rogers. I would highly recommend taking any pet to this animal hospital.
