  FIVE AND A HALF STARS. The Dangler Funeral Home has been taking care of my Family for many years.My Dad worked with Darren's Dad in the West Orange Police Dept. And with Mel at his side i added the extra half star. Great Family who care in the time of loss.

  I can’t properly express my gratitude for Darren, Mel and the entire Dangler staff. Their level of professionalism, kindness and expertise is what has truly helped my family through one of the worst times in our lives. We are a difficult bunch but Dangler respected all of our ever-changing requests and executed them flawlessly. We are forever grateful. The Garibaldi, Toro-Mugford families.

  My family and i have used dangler funeral home for a few family members that have passed away . Darren and his wife mel were very helpful thru out the whole process. Our family will definitely utilize their services again . They are both comforting and caring people . Best of all they are a family owned funeral home. Thank you both .

  My Mom passed away in March and I've been meaning to write as many reviews as I can for Dangler Funeral Home but it's taken me a while. I'm a part time professional musician and my Mom passed away while I was in Europe on tour-she had advanced Alzheimers. When my Mom passed away at home my elderly father with only the help of my wife were left to handle the arrangements while I returned as quickly as possible to the US. We had never planned a funeral before. Without Darren, I can honestly say, we would have been lost. He went so far above and beyond in helping my Dad and wife (and me by phone) make the arrangements its hard for me to outline everything he did. I will give you one really beautiful example--my Mom was going to have a closed casket funeral on Long Island but she passed away in West Orange so she had to be taken to a funeral home in NJ. We were given Dangler's funeral home the night she passed. I didn't get to see my Mom on the night she passed and arrived back in the US two days after her death. Although she was not being laid out at Dangler funeral home, I asked if I could come by the funeral home the day before her funeral on Long Island just to see her and pay my respects. I truly expected to be brought into a preparatory room b/c we had not asked for nor paid for any type of service at Dangler. When I got there, Darren greeted me and had me wait a few minutes in his office. I was nervous and spent some time looking at his awards and commendations for bravery as a firefighter on the wall. He quietly walked in and asked me if I was ready to see her. I said yes and he lead me to a beautiful room with music quietly playing where she was laid out beautifully as if her funeral were taking place there. I was flabbergasted and got very choked up. I said "You did this just for me?" and he said "Of course. I wanted you to have a nice goodbye with your Mom." I'm crying as I write this because it was just so beautiful. I am forever grateful to Mr. Dangler for every courtesy and every kindness he showed to me, my wife, my father and my Mom. There are not enough stars to represent how amazing this business and this person is.

  FIVE STAR EXPERIENCE-
  Darren Dangler, his wife and his staff were all very kind, understanding & comforting in their efforts to console our grieving family in our time of need. They were knowledgeable and also very professional in the way that the personal affairs and wishes of our deceased loved one was accomplished.
