“Dr. Anderson is beyond amazing for many reasons. He's one of the best in his field, knowledgeable, thorough and compassionate. I was referred to him after a almost 5 year long battle of being misdiagnosed by various doctors, mistreated and brushed off which eventually resulted in being diagnosed with cancer. So when I came to him, I was scared, emotional and not very trusting of doctors. Not only did he use his impeccable bedside manners to make me feel comfortable, but he made me feel like family and that my health and well being truly mattered. I've been under his care now since January 2018 at the Newark Beth Israel location, he's performed several surgeries on me since then which were succesful. He is very detailed and thorough when it comes to ones care and explaining what's happening. While it is true that there is always a lengthier wait despite an appointment, the reason for that is that he does not rush his patients when in the room with them and allocates the needed time to examine thoroughly and to answer any and every question the patient has. Trust me when I tell you, he is worth the wait!!! In a time where many doctors look at patients merely as a number and rush them out of the room, Dr. Anderson is a rare jewel with values and care for his patients that seems to be almost obsolete. His staff at the Frederick B Cohen Cancer Center (Newark Beth Israel) is also extremely professional and caring. All in All, if you need a gynecological oncologist, you want Dr. Anderson.”
