“I visited this urgent care this morning to get COVID-19 testing as I am returning to work next week. I first called slightly after 8 AM to confirm they had testing, which the person on the phone did confirm. I arrived at the center at 9:10 AM. There’s a sign on the door asking you to call so they can register you. I called, and my registration was done by 9:15. Since I had walked over, they had me wait in the waiting room. I waited until 9:50 AM, when a nurse called my phone to get some information, then came to get me and complete my initial examination and to take a swab for the test. I then waited in my exam room for a doctor until 10:25 AM. She told me to expect a call in 3 to 5 days with my results, and asked if I had any questions. I left urgent care at 10:31. Overall, the wait was long compared to the only other urgent care I’ve been to (I’m usually in and out within 30-60 minutes), but the staff were polite, and the center was clean and properly social distanced. Update: Got a call with my results 6 days (4 business days) later. The representative was concise and polite.”
