  This is a common go-to for me whenever I'm looking to do a trail run. You can find the famous Appalachian trail crossing through this area! This park offers a variety of trails that range from rocky and twisted, to wide and flattened family-friendly ones. Ultimately this is a great place for anyone who likes a competitive hike, or a few hours in a park. (You can also spot a historic iron mine that has been left abandoned beside the lake).

  Amazing place. There is lots n lots n lots of stuff to do here, from simple trails to complicated challenging trails but that's just the beginning. Fishing, boating, horse back riding, picnicking and plenty of open fields as well. I was only here once so far but definitely coming back to explore and enjoy it more in the weeks to come. Beautiful color changing leaves and bridges, marked paths......really a jewel of a find.

  Love this place. There are lots of shady spots, big parking lot and the main bathroom by the kids playground is the cleanest with changing rooms. You can rent or bring your own boat. Dogs are allowed too!

  It was my first time there and it was very nice. There was a food truck available along with clean rest/changing rooms. The only suggestion is to put fans in the rest/ changing rooms for ventilation as it was very (closed) in there. Great price to get in & out was nice they request to too take your garbage with you when learning. That's helps keep the area clean!
