G& M Moving & Storage company moved both my family and my elderly parents in Jan and May 2018. They were fabulous! I'm not one to write reviews but I was so impressed by their professional service i felt compelled to to. Price came in the best of 5 estimates! From the initial phone call to the final box they were a pleasure to work with. They showed up early , stayed late helping my elderly parents arrange their furniture and setting up bed frames going above and beyond what was expected. They were respectful and careful with all our belongings. I highly recommend them! They also have storage and were able to take some of our furniture into their climate controlled storage facility for a couple months. One stop shopping with them. Great experience!
This was my first time using G&M. I found them online through one of thse online moving company referral sites, and from the customer service intro call (with Michele) to my actually movers, they were courtesy and professional. Gaby and his team of 2 other movers made my mom's move from Queens to LI (with a stop to local storage) so stress free and efficient. They helped dispose of the furniture we were not taking. In terms of cost, they were very straightforward and upfront - no hidden charges, which is always concern with any moving company. Be as specific upfront in terms of what you have to move, how long it will take and how far you are moving. For us, we didn't factor in the time to dispose of the furniture, which was actually more than the stuff we took. I would recommend them without reservations and use them again.
Honestly I couldn't have asked for a better experience. This moving company was recommended to me from a friend. She told me how amazing it is and I absolutely agree with her. The customer service was to the point and helpful. The estimator and movers were great also. I would definitely recommend this company..!! These guys really ROCK! They were on time and FAST! They ask that you have everything boxed up and in the front of your place near the door so they can quickly get in and get everything out! They even moved my refrigerator with NO problems! They had to take it down TWO LEVELS!
This moving company is great. It's' very easy to make an appointment & they're very upfront w/the expected cost. Their moving crews showed up on time, very polite and work efficiently. They make sure to wrap everything thoroughly and even packed some loose items found. All our belongings were safe & sound. Entire moving was done quicker than I anticipated. I would definitely recommend this to all people I know who needs a fast & professional moving thanks G&M Moving
