Dr. Balan is my mother's primary oncologist - we could not have asked for a more knowledgeable, capable and compassionate doctor. He has the ability to make you feel as if you are his only and most important patient, not only expertly treating the primary disease but also taking care to treat the whole person (as well as making himself available to my siblings and me). My family is very lucky to have access to some of the top oncologists in the nation - we are even more fortunate to have found someone so highly competent and equally exceptional in Brooklyn. I could not recommend him more highly.

I cannot speak highly enough of Dr Balan. He knows oncology like no other doctor and is caring and compassionate, treating you like a human being. He takes the time to explain and to answer your questions, which is rare nowadays.
