  I have “(right) shoulder bursitis” and went to Dr. Perez for physical therapy. She initially performed a lot of hands-on techniques and after that, some exercises that did not only target my problem area but also taught me how to use my core and she helped me do a number of strengthening exercises efficiently so I can avoid any future injuries. Thanks to Dr. Perez, I won't be needing surgery since the pain level had decreased a lot. Dr. Perez is now our go-to PT if we need one again and I've been recommending her to my friends and families.

  I give the service 5 stars based on categories that are important to me in the care of my mind, body and spirit. Astaire was personable when she listened to the description of my issues with pain before going to work on the areas. I like to be able to participate in the work and not just to be worked on. She seemed to have an understanding of my pain and where it originated from, which helped a great deal because she really gave me an education on anatomy. Finally, I am easily bored so I was impressed with the multiplicity of applications for my healing that kept me interested and wanting to return. I recommend this PTS.

  Our 13 year old son was diagnosed with "patello femoral pain syndrome" by his pediatrician and recommended physical therapy 2x a week for the next 6 weeks before we can see him again. We took my son to Dr. Perez for an evaluation and she treated him immediately. She taught him exercises that include stretching to increase flexibility and to decrease the tightness around his knee, straight-leg raises and other exercises to strengthen his muscle around the knee. She also applied a tape and used it as a brace to stabilize my son's kneecap. Dr. Perez provided us with therabands that my son would need as well when doing therapy at home. She takes her time to educate my son and us parents on what's going on with his knee, what activities he needs to avoid in the meantime and what exercises to do and how often they need to be done. We were extremely pleased with Dr. Perez's services and thrilled that my son only after a few physical therapy sessions is back to his daily routine and martial arts class.
