I met Russ on a 3 day AMA course about HR. He was great and learned he is a Life Coach. I ended up using his services. I can tell you Russ is, professional, compassionate, timly, responsive, and most of all, I was able to get what I needed from his coaching. I would recommend Russ any chance I could get. If you are looking for a life coach, look no further. Russ is your coach!

I met Russ through Rutgers Newark Career Services as a Sophomore many years ago for a mock interview. I was completely unprepared and had no idea what to expect, it was early in the fall semester and I had no interviewing experience thus far. Russ quickly noticed my nerves, calmed me down, and coached me through how to interview - giving tips I still use to this day. I went on to receive offers for every internship/full-time job I interviewed for through the rest of college.

In one short conversation with Russ I gained the confidence I didn't know I had to go through interviews, and life, with my chin up and with gratitude in my heart. From that point, I've kept him posted on every major career and life change that's come my way because part of my success is owed to him.

5 months ago, I attended a 3-day AMA course called 'Recruiting, Interviewing and Selecting Employees' that Russ led. I had been on the administrative side of HR/Recruiting for 4 and a half years, and was ready to start moving into a role at my current company with greater responsibility over our recruiting and onboarding function--an area where there is a lot of opportunity within my team to grow, both personally and organizationally. At the beginning of the seminar, Russ took the time to understand my professional goals, as well as the goals of my company, and tailored much of the content and exercises with that in mind.

His recruiting methods do not just follow a formula or script; he helped me adopt a wider perspective through active listening and critical thinking that includes how (and when) to pose the right questions, listening to and evaluating candidates' responses, and ultimately making objective decisions. At times during the seminar, he pushed me out of my comfort-zone, but did so with such care and compassion that I felt comfortable rising to the challenge. His seminar not only gave me effective tools for being a discerning interviewer, but also the confidence I need in order to guide hiring managers to making smart hiring decisions. Russ also helped me find a more assertive voice among my own HR team (where I am the most junior member) so that I can continue to grow and lead our company's recruiting efforts without being a manager.

In the few short months following the seminar, I achieved my primary goals by being promoted to Senior Talent Specialist, where I will continue to use the tools and perspectives Russ gave me to make a meaningful impact within my organization. I'm very grateful to Russ and would definitely consider working with him again in future!

Russ was actually the very first person I interviewed when I started my search for a coach. From the first moment we spoke I knew he was special and had a unique set of skills. Ultimately, I decided to move forward with Russ as my coach. Russ had the unique ability to probe directly, ask the right questions and push me out of my comfort zone so I could look at myself with a fresh set of eyes. He had a structured approach which resonated with me and my personal style. We quickly identified a plan to tell my story, identify options for my next role and provide a framework for accountability. I had so many moving parts in my life, but he was able to be available when needed and worked at a pace that worked for me. Russ was such a joy to work with (he is such a special human) and not only did I gain the skills needed to craft my next chapter, but I also gained a friend. I would recommend him highly!

To say I felt instantly physically lighter is an understatement! In a short catch up chat Russell pumped endless positive energy and insight into me. I ended our phone call feeling unstoppable and ready to achieve what I’ve always wanted. I’m armed with useful tools for both my professional and personal life.
Don’t believe me...then try it for yourself... and get ready to take charge of your life.
