2019 before the pandemic I was advocating for my son to be removed from Elizabeth public school when he was 4 years old. At that time my son was diagnosed with ADHD, the treatment towards him at the Elizabeth public school due to his disability was horrible.
After three months of advocating the board of education agreed to find a school that would benefit my son academically and provide the services he needed that were not offered at the public school he attended. We visited NHA, I was given a tour with my son, and made my final decision, the best decision.
This school has had such a positive impact on my son, and as single mom I don’t have the anxiety of worrying about having to leave work.
It’s now 2022 going into 2023 my mind hasn’t changed. The staff communicates on a daily, my son is happy, he’s in a structured classroom setting, and this school deserves more credit than they’re getting. Knowing that my son is safe and being cared for is the peace of mind I have with NHA than what I had with Elizabeth Public Schools.

My child has been going to this school since he was 3 years old,now he's 11 years old. I am beyond grateful for everything he has learned and accomplish within the years so far.All the teachers are amazing ,understanding and friendly. it's a safe School I feel that my child is protected there. Most important my child loves it there,which means his voice and decisions matters to me and his opinion will always come first .. Happy child 😊 Happy mom.😊

I highly recommend NHA for moms with challenging children. I was once a student there many years ago. They tough me structure and many amazing life lessons, so when I faced the same issues with my son I knew I had to find away to get him into the school. After talking to Maria Fragoso she helped me through the process. When my son went to the school he was 6 wasn't able to read at all, had no control with his behaviors, and was quite destructive. He's been in this school for 7 years and is flourishing! Within 6 months he was able to read, his behaviors and impulse control is so much better. He found out he loves science and wants to learn everything about it. On days he's not in school he asks to go to school. I never thought I would see that. The staff is very friendly and willing to help in all aspects. They take the time to reach out for every aspect of your childs wellbeing being behavioral or for accomplishments. The structure makes such a world of difference. I'm so happy to have them on our team, for that I give this 5 stars 🌟.

I personally been having a great experience with my daughter, she's been attending this school for about 7 years now, and cannot be happier with the improvement I'm seeing with my daughter, the staff is friendly, good communication, responsible and they love my daughter. I think the key is to keep good communication with the teachers and team, and be on top of your kids! I'm happy with this school and I will definitely recommend.
