Great place to start for biking on the trail. 9 miles to Frenchtown. Also enjoy the foot bridge to PA too busy Black Bass.

Beautiful little pocket park with something for everyone. Pedestrian bridge to the Black Bass hotel on the Pa. side, immediate access to the canal toe paths on both sides of the river, boat ramp, playgrounds, picnic grounds, clean rest rooms, friendly information center. A biking and hiking/running meca.

Love this park...especially the footbridge over the Delaware! The visitor center has helpful info and free park maps along with other local park maps. Friendly greeter in the park office.
On this particular visit, I was disturbed by something though. As my nephew and I approached the footbridge, a DRJTBC (Delaware River Joint Toll Bridge Commission), diesel truck sat idling, windows open and empty as 4 workers weedwacked over on the PA side of the bridge!!! Really I thought! Diesel smell drifting into the play area for kids, along with the risk of someone taking the truck. Unbelievable!
