I was afraid of the dentist until I was recommended Sophisticated Smiles by a co-worker. First off, the waiting room is very cozy and is like a living room at a home. There is a TV that they let you watch whatever u want in the waiting room and in the examination rooms. They know that people typically don't like the dentist or are afraid of them and they do EVERYTHING they can to make you feel comfortable. They are very sympathetic to your fears and proud of you when you trust them enough to overcome your fears with them. They gave me a free crown because they were so proud of me conquering my fears. They also never make you feel guilty or like you aren't doing enough (even if you might be at fault for your dental issues). Rather,they kindly explain the issue, how to fix it, and they try to focus on the positive not the negative. All the staff there is VERY sweet and understanding. It's also really nice to be able to watch TV while getting a procedure done, as it distracts you from the procedure and puts you at ease. They also have very flexible hours, scheduling, and payment options.
I am afraid of dentist, I hate going to them and practically need to be dragged there. These folks are so kind and understanding that it makes me feel bad for taking up so much of their time. They are always concerned for my comfort but make sure everything is accomplished to make sure my teeth stay healthy. I like how they treat me like a guest in their home rather than a business transaction. They are upfront with cost and working with you insurance company to understand how much something is going to cost before you have the work completed. My three children and I are very happy with our choice and it has been two years since we started with them
I can only say, I have been with them since 2007, Mark and staff have taken care of all my dental needs. I was very afraid of the dentist and they are the first group who have ever taken the time to make me comfortable and very very happy. I have a great smile now, and would never have gotten through this work without the help of Mark and Staff. They are the most professional people i have come to meet in the field of dentistry.
