Yesterday I arrived to the office on North Olden Ave to purchase and pick up my cellar door. From start to finish all the people Were just phenomenal. Everyone just made you feel like family, they wanted you to have a great experience doing business with the company, unlike the other big chain stores. I like to support local, independent stores. I get very frustrated dealing with chain stores/corporations when there is a problem with a product or service (and it’s usually pretty difficult finding a store sales person that can answer questions!). I recently had a problem with the type of door that was installed in my house that I ordered through Heath Lumber in Ewing. They had ordered the wrong type by mistake and when I called the owner, Gary, about this error, he responded immediately about it. He said that they would replace the door at no additional cost to me. I was very happy to see an owner stand by his products and services. When I visit their store or call with questions, the staff always responds quickly – they have excellent customer service.
