This school and it's teachers are a gem. The teachers are dedicated, innovative, and kind which provides the perfect environment for our kids to grow and learn while feeling safe and secure. The families which attend the school are from all over the world, further enriching our kids' experience. It is a pleasure to be a part of this cooperative school!
We love this school - especially the teachers. The teachers are so kind and loving and teach good manners and even try to help us be better parents in a supportive and understanding way. The teachers are very experienced and know what they are doing. Every morning the teacher would greet each and every child and help them transition into the class, even those (or especially those) who were upset.
My son absolutely loved all the science experiments they did in class. They made a volcano explode, saw how flowers could change colors, soap blow up. I can't remember them all but there were a lot of experiments and they really held the children's' attention. I love their focus on free play within a structured day. We are so happy to be part of the ULNS family!
University League Nursery School is a wonderful school with an involved and supportive community of parents, and a dedicated, creative and loving staff.
There are a lot of reasons to love ULeague. What makes it so special for our family is that being a part of this cooperative school has made us feel warmly welcomed and embraced by our new community. We just moved to Princeton in August, and in less than a year we have made many family friends at ULeague and we run into acquaintances all around town. By being in the classroom regularly, we have gotten to know our child's friends, their families, and the teachers in a personal way.
On the practical side, ULeague is extremely convenient, because we drop our oldest off at Littlebrook and then go straight to ULeague down the road for 8:30 am drop off. When I am the monthly helping parent in the classroom, I like that the food is already there and that I don't have to prepare and bring a special snack. It's one less thing I have to worry about.
Our child often stays for lunch, and has participated in many fun afternoon enrichment programs like soccer, fiber fun, and Spanish. The school has been very flexible and accommodating to changes in our schedule. It means a lot to me that the director, Cindy Schenthal, has gotten to know us. Being a part of ULeague has made our move to Princeton so much easier.
We are new to the area and are so happy we found University League nursery school. Not only was my son so happy to go everyday but the school has a great community if you are new to the area. I could not have picked a better fit for my son and our family. My kids have been in a handful of preschools due to a few moves and this school stands out. Mrs. Rockoff and Mrs. Toth in the 3 yr old program are very special stand out teachers. It was so heartwarming to see the bond they built with each of the children. Can't say enough great things about this school and the teachers!
