(December 6, 2018, 11:48 am)My wife and I had to bring our baby girl Bella to NorthStar. We knew going there that there was a great possibility that our baby needed to be euthanized. After about an hour wait (it was very busy) an examination by the vet confirmed our fear. The Dr. and his entire staff were extremely empathetic, supportive and professional during this difficult time. The Dr. walked us through the entire process, stayed to answer all of the questions we had and gave us all the time we needed to spend with Bella before the procedure and even after. Joann and I would like to thank everyone at NorthStar Vets for making an extremely difficult decision a bit more easier to make. Thank you for understanding our wants and needs, but most importantly thank you for making Bella's well-being your top priority. God bless you all.

(November 21, 2018, 8:16 pm)From the moment we walked in, I knew I was in good hands. I was first met by Tara who was incredible not only to my cat, Louie but to my son and myself as well. She calmed me and was very patient and knowledgeable about Louie’s possible prognosis. We barely waited to be seen by Dr. Higgins who was equally supportive, kind and thorough in explaining Louie’s condition. Thank you NorthStar

(August 4, 2018, 7:25 pm)For the people that gave a bad review for the prices, the cost of the emergency visit is listed right on the website. This is an emergency center. I’ve been to other animal emergency facilities, and this one is far above the others, and the cost is no different.
The difference is, there are professional people, with not only great medical skills, but good “people skills”, which I have not seen at many facilities.
My Paxton has had a few visits here, and I have never doubted their abilities. They also put me at ease, explain everything, answer your questions, and do not have the condescending attitude, that I have seen from way too many vet techs and veterinarians.
Bottom line is, you get what you pay for.
I know that Paxton was not thrilled to go to the doctor, but I’m sure he loved the hugs and compliments that you gave him. (I’m sure he’s sorry about his little accident, too).
He’s doing fine and looking for food.
I appreciate all that you did for him. It made a bad situation a little better for me, too. Thank you to George, Katy, Dr Lloyd, (and everyone else) for your kindness to me and my pet.
