Was a great place to see a concert. The beer fest was great. They had a good selection of beer and food. The car show is always a great time.
Giving 5 Stars but I got to point out an issue that occurred month ago.
I was relaxing with my bicycle by the lake and I saw a couple behind me doing some shots with a small size drone, a DJI Spark.
That's when the Park Rangers showed up telling the couple to stop flying the drone because wasn't permitted. The guy with the remote control was very attentive following the Park Ranger demands and very apologetic about the whole thing.
I was observing the whole thing. He drone owner wasn't flying over peoples heads or boats. He was taking shots flying over water.
I agree that can be a little annoying for some people. Having the propellers sound but this is nothing compare of the blasting stereo systems or kids screaming for ice creams.
I asked one of the Park Rangers about the policy. He told me the regulation is on the website and the biggest problem is taking pictures of people and their privacy.
Well, if you want privacy, stay home. Don't come to a park. And pictures can be taken from a smartphone. So his point was nonsense.
Anyway, I'm probably blind or just too dumb to find the regulation on the website. Can someone copy and paste the regulation here? Thanks
Hello, get the Spartans grade during the summer winter spring almost all seasons. They also have a pretty cool walking trail as well as an event center where you can host events I've been there for weddings.
Huge park with tennis courts, children playground, marina and a dog park. Great for walking, jogging or biking. Can get busy at times, especially if there is an event going on. If you're lucky, you can even spot some wildlife!
