“I had cervical spine discectomy and fusion in 2013. It was a huge surprise to me that I had this condition considering my overall health and wellness. The staff at Princeton Neurological Surgery (PNS) was, this is an understatement, amazing. My entire experience could not have been more positive. I went to two other neurological specialists for opinions, including a large, well respected hospital, which I would describe as a "cattle call." While that individual doctor I met with is considered "one of the best," I was shuttled in and out with little attention paid to my specific circumstances. On the other hand, Dr Lipani and Kathy spent the a significant period of time talking with me, looking at my images, and discussing any questions I had. I ended up choosing PNS even though they were "out of network" for my health plan, and it was absolutely worth it. While no surgery is ever pleasant, I felt like PNS was family the entire process and recovery. I think Dr Lipani's skills and knowledge base are truly second to none, and he relates so well to patients. His attention to detail was incredible in comparison to the other specialists with whom I talked. I also had numerous financial issues with the insurance company which was a lengthy and unpleasant process. Kathy was amazing, dealing with the insurance company on my behalf when I asked, and never broke any promises about billing issues. I could not more highly recommend this practice, regardless of the surgical needs.”
