Outstanding experience. Sam and his workers were totally professional and delivered everything promised. They arrived early and completed the job in less than a day. Very meticulous work with equally effective clean up. You can't go wrong if you choose Biondo Contracting.
Surprise roof leak during a massive downpour. i was referred to Biondo by my plumber and they responded very quickly. I received a return phone call right away and Sam Biondo, the owner showed up before the next rain to solve the problem.
We had seen Biondo Contracting in the neighborhood and I had gotten good recommendations from everyone. Sam and his crew were absolutely fabulous. He first came out, reviewed the work to be done and gave me a detailed estimate. All we had to do was choose the shingle type/color. He helped us make the decision and we picked a day for the work. He notified me a day or so ahead of time and also informed me the crew will arrive by 7:30. They did arrive early and started work shortly thereafter. They had to take off 2 layers and also put on a new attic fan and do some soffit work that was damaged in a wind storm. By 4:30 the cleanup was done and Sam reviewed the work with me. All the work was done at the agreed upon price. His crew didn't just cleanup, they made the outdoor area cleaner than it was before they arrived. A fantastic job and highly recommend him.
Overall I was pleased with the work and professionalism of Biondo. At first as I was getting into this project I was concerned that I would get drastically over priced. My first impression from working with businesses like Biondo was that they would try to take advantage. However, Biondo actually came in very reasonably. Much better than other businesses I received estimates from. Secondly, they were very well organized and timely. I received a professionally laid out quote and I received it within 24 hours of having met with Biondo. All others I worked with were (1) very late in getting me a quote (2) over priced in my opinion and (3) not at all professional in other words, I was getting text messages for quotes. With Biondo, I received documentation that outlined exactly the work they would perform and detailed cost.
The work itself was also done very well. They were able to replace my entire roof and flashings within 1 eight hour day. Also, they were able to schedule me within 1 week. Would have been sooner but weather did not cooperate.
The one thing I would need to be a bit critical is that the working team was just a little messy. I ended up with some silicone on my pavers in front of my house which now I cannot rub off. I can tell this was due to one of the workers tossing the silicone gun off the roof to the ground below. I also had to ask the guys to take a second sweep around the house to ensure all the nails were picked up properly.
That said, those were minor issues. The roof was done well and quick, and the house looks great for what I consider a reasonable price. I would absolutely recommend working with Biondo for your contracting needs.
Sam and his crew did a terrific job. More then competitive, they replaced our roof in less then a full day and clean up was great. I would highly recommend him to anyone
