Hi, my name is Robert Settimo. My parents were both residents at The Villas in Manalapan, NJ. My dad passed last week but my mother is still there.
I would like to comment on one of your Aides. I don't know her last name. Her first name is Viviana and she took great care of both my parents. I do want to comment on her exemplary work ethic with my mother Gilda Settimo. Viviana is there every morning when I arrive at 8am and she stays I believe till about 12:30.
I'm 57 years old and have been in every type of customer service industry you can think of since I Was 14 years old.
Many people have no problem calling a manager or writing a letter or taking a survey when something bad is happening. I have lived this life and I make it a point to call out specifically on the times people go above and beyond in their job descriptions.
Viviana may have been well trained but training is not half the job. This woman is kind, considerate and talks to my 83 year old mom as an adult and individual. Yes , mom has dementia and I see many folks talk to these people like they are children or literally ignore them. I took care of my parents for the last 3 years at home round the clock. I moved in with them 4 days a week. My mother still has her wits in the very early morning hours and I am grateful the person there at those hours is Vivianna. Her attention to detail and the way she gently handels mom's body is a blessing. Mom smells delicious every day when I get there , her diaper is clean and her legs are moisturized. Her lips are not parched and her hair is clean and combed as if It were myself doing this.
Mom's shirts are changed every day , but never on a monday after Viviana has not been there on her days off. Again I am so grateful I need to write to you. She also interacts with me on a very kind and intelligent level and understands I am grieving in my own way.
She tidies up the room and makes sure everything is clen and lovely for my dying mother. I have dealt with so many ill equipped Aides over the past year at home who were helping me. I find it shocking.
So when I see the depths at which this woman is completely in the correct field and the genuine care she is actually giving; I have to write to you.
As you can see I tend to go on and on and could say even more here but I will stop and thank; grace HealthcareServices as well as Viviana.
I know many companies recognize their finest associates in different ways. Please be so kind as to make an example to all your staff at wht integrity this woman has.

I am again, greatly appreciative and will remember your company and Viviana for the rest of my life I can guarantee.

    Best regards,
    Robert Settimo

Even I haven't had a long time to spend with them...( my mom passed away so soon after caming from JFK hospital) they were so nice and concerned. ALL of them from the older nurse to the other nurses including the wound specialist. Not to mention the Chaplain Don Hassemer and the social worker Patricia Mallory ....6 months after mom passed I received a supporting letter...I wish I had more time with mom and them !!! Unfortunately JFK hospital thought my mom wasn't sick enough for hasppis, yet she passed the 3rd day after discharge!😥 I am still broken from losing 4 dear family members in the last 3 years! I will never be the same! So if you need kind hearted people for your elderly you'll find them at Grace hasppis!
Thank youuuuu for all of your support!
    God bless you all!

We used Grace Healthcare last year for my parent’s hospice needs. The people at Grace Healthcare are truly wonderful. It was so humbling to see people who were so caring and compassionate. We have another need for hospice and I will be calling Grace Healthcare again.

While we only used the services for less than a week everyone from the first call we made, where Dorothy took our information and explained everything in detail to us; to the day of our grandmother's wake, when both our nurse Jenny and Chaplain Don attended, were supportive, kind and helpful. Jenny was our nurse and she was compassionate and caring, like we knew her for years. When the time came close she called Chaplain Don and he came immediately. He was warm and sensitive and really took the time to know our family in the short time we met him. Even the nurse on the phone after hours and the nurse who came when my grandmother passed were kind and patient. Everyone we came in contact with during this extremely difficult and sad time showed true care and compassion. We are thankful we called Grace. God bless them all.
