Merrill was very helpful, and the process there is pretty straightforward. We already have a fabricator so I just needed to provide their name so she could get pricing information to him.
It's a good size facility with a lot of selection, so if you have mobility issues, be prepared. We brought my wheelchair. My husband went in the main door, and Merrill met us at one of the large warehouse doors so I didn't have to deal with navigating the walkway or reception area. I had no problems getting down the aisles, but a lot of them I had to back out of as there wasn't necessarily room at the end to swing around to the next aisle. I was able to get to everything though, so that was good.
That being said, they really do have a wide selection of stones. A few things we wanted to see weren't in stock, but that can happen. I would highly recommend going to see the stones in person as they can look different from the website.
I cannot say enough about how helpful and insightful Sierra was. She quickly had a good sense of the type of stone, color I was looking for for my kitchen. She was incredibly pleasant to deal with, very patient and definitely went the extra mile to help me find the perfect stone. I purchased soapstone and quartzite from OHM.
Amazing! Very helpful, wonderful selection, even pulled out some other slabs not on the floor so we could see. On a Friday afternoon, no less. And the vibe…..oh my, how could you go wrong with a business named Om (the symbol for the universe) and Ohm (a measure of electrical current). Thanks Merrill (hope I spelled that right) and everyone in the warehouse. We came, we saw, we left happy customers. Ommmmmm!
