(November 12, 2018, 9:29 am)Visiting the gallery space, I was very impressed. The room was quite large, with high ceilings, and a wall of windows. Very nice.
(July 13, 2018, 11:27 am)I have nothing but praises for this library. Having utilized numerous libraries in NY, PA & NJ, the Monroe Township Library is a top contender.
During the last 7 years I have come to enjoy this library so much, and am impressed by the design, layout of the space & the helpfulness of the staff. I like it so much that I take people who have come to visit us to my library so that I can show it off. Sitting in the magazine section is a special treat for them.
(June 3, 2018, 7:35 am)Excellent library with tons of good DVDs to borrow. Part of open borrowing network and accepts other Middlesex county library cards. Latest movies available for 2 day loan. One of the younger libraries with a nice floor plan. Staff are courteous and lots of programs geared towards mature adult population. Plenty of parking and after hours DVDs and book drop-off available. Shady area with picnic tables at front.
(December 16, 2017, 8:47 am)I am concern about the library hours. They usually take long periods of holidays; for instance the library was closed for the Thanksgiving Day week on Wednesday at 1:00 pm and continue to be closed on Thursday, and Friday. Two days and half closed. Same happened for the other major holidays. The Old Bridge Public Library closes only one day and usually is opened on other festivities where other libraries are closed. The other concern is that there is enough private study rooms. The layout of the library is confused; having a restroom almost outside of the library.

Monroe Township Library | Museum Passes
Because demand for passes is high, two "no shows" in a 60 day period may result in a 2 month block on museum pass reservations. Reservations can be canceled up to two (2) days before "the Day of Use". You can cancel online or by calling the Circulation desk 732-521-5000. Reservations cannot be canceled via email.
