  Very pleased with the way they treated and cared for my family on multiple occasions. The woman who helped us transfer my mother there was top notch, we are so grateful for her! Her name was Avelyn (spelling?) And she even worked with us on the weekend when no other facility would. I don't know what we would have done if it wasn't for her. The facility is always clean and staff is helpful. We have been there multiple times and always happy with them. Thank you so much!!

  My grandma spent the last year of her life at Summer Hill. The nursing staff were always great with her. She did not speak English but everyone was very patient and accommodating. The rec dept staff were also outstanding, always going out of their way to make my grandma feel welcomed and loved.

  As a person who was in Summerhill every day with the loved one i want to give 10 k stars .The proffesional care of staf is excellent administration is on top of every little thing.its clean and safe .The place makes you feel like you are family and close.friend .all workers put their hearts out for all of residence .They have entertainment of live bands and singers.Everyones birthdays are recognized and celebrated .each holidays regardles religion is celebrated .outstamding loving nurses with tones of patient and care .Administration helpfull and acomodating.all those people create an enviroment where elderly people find their friendly place and families can be sure an at ease that their loved ones are at great place and loving caring place.Thank You for all amesome care and attention what Florence got.

  My aunt was cared for at Summer Hill twice. Her first time she was there for approximately 10 weeks for rehabilitation allowing her to regain some ability to walk on her own. It was during this time that I witnessed the amount of care and attention given to the patients and residents of Summer Hill. My family was very pleased with their service.
  
  Unfortunately my aunt needed to receive around the clock care a couple of years later due to health complications. The hospital recommended a facility but I recalled our experience with Summer Hill and requested that she be sent there. That is where she remained until her passing earlier this year and although she was only expected to live a couple of months initially, she remained with us for about a year and a half thank God. I do attribute the wonderful care given by the staff at Summer Hill for this in conjunction with the Grace of God!

  My Uncle arrived at Summer Hill in 2010. He was a diabetic and suffered cognitive issues requiring skilled nursing care. My initial contact with the Administrator, Evelyn, was positive. She was patient and extremely helpful. If I wasn't able to speak with Evelyn immediately, Michelle would take a message and Evelyn would reply promptly. Working with Evelyn and with the help of Rachel in Social Services, my Uncle's move to Summer Hill was uneventful. There were a few hiccups on my part and fortunately, Bob was there to help in arranging his room. Whenever (and no matter what time) I visited, my uncle was always freshly washed, in clean clothes and clean-shaven (thanks to his wonderful aides...James was one of his favorites). The nursing staff (yes, he had favorites there too...Margaret, Maddie, Glen to name a few), speech therapy and occupational took care of his medical needs and treated him with respect and compassion.
  
  It was a no-brainer when my Mom suffered a fall and needed rehab. Once again, we chose Summer Hill. Mom received the same good care and her rehab was a great success.
  
  My family and I are glad Summer Hill was there for our loved ones.
