Very clean and safe. They close parts of the park when the river overflows. I've seen lots of wildlife - Bald Eagles, Comorants, Deer, and Ducks and Geese to name a few. Besides the great river view, historical bulidings, and zoo, there's lots of Pokéstops for those who play Pokémon Go. And the Pokéstops close at 5pm.
This park is the best. My daughter and I love to go and feed the animals carrots and walk around. Their is a nice playground and walking trails. And it’s all FREE.
Excellent views, walk ways for an evening walk.
Really nice place for a run. Or a picnic or a day in the park.. the petting zoo is very cute and a must stop
Awesome place has a small zoo and a great walking trail along. Many playgrounds. Great to visit with small kids. And did I mention there is no entrance fees or anything , just remember to pack some carrots and lettuce
