  Very nice park for bike ride and plenty of tennis courts to play here. This also a place to visit for fall colors. And not to forget they had few animals and birds to see and feed. Such a nice place for zero bucks that's a cherry on top. You will appreciate it for sure

  Johnson park is a long strip of land between river rd and the raritan river that stretched for miles. They have many picnic and bbq area groves, several playgrounds, tennis courts, baseball fields, soccer fields and a zoo. I come here very often with my family or alone. It's a great place to jog and play. I even take my aunt who is in a wheel chair. The bike path is paved and wheelchair accessible. Highly recommend a visit if you live nearby.

  Nice park with a nice jogging path along the water.
  Excellent, free, small zoo.
  Bring some veggies and fruit for the animals.

  A really big and rather nice park.
  
  It has wide open green spaces, multiple playgrounds, a nice view of the Raritan river, bathrooms, and a free zoo.
  
  And plenty of parking.
  
  My only criticism is the zoo is a bit rough and feels a bit too focused on customers feeding the animals. But it's free, so it is what it is.

  great place for kids, you can show farm animals, feed them with corn(sold there for a $1). Also kids can have fun in play area. Adults can enjoy walking or biking long paths.
