Very professional environment. Really loved how my hair looked afterwards
Getting my hair done by Juls isn't just an ordinary hair salon - it is a worthwhile and empowering experience each and everytime! I have been a client of Jul's since about 2004, before the Jul's Studios salon opened when she had a mini salon in the basement of her townhouse. From the moment I first met Juls, when I was about 14, I immediately felt welcomed, appreciated, and accepted. When I first met her I was much shyer, but she always knew how to make me feel comfortable and get me talking. Juls always recognized my gifts and made it a point to praise me and empower me. I love how she can always see the light in others and help them see it themselves. I always enjoyed talking to her and her employees, including her long time employee LaToya. This alone made me a regular client for many years!
Juls clearly possesses a deep passion for hair care and styling. She is well educated, loves educating her clients & employees, and constantly expanding her knowledge. Juls and her employees taught me various ways in which to keep my hair healthy over the years. My hair grew much longer and healthier than ever before! I remember people, especially older women and young girls of color, often stopping me and asking me how my hair looks so long and healthy. I built so much trust with Jul's Studios to the point where I didn't want any other salon touching my hair!
I mentioned earlier that Juls is constantly expanding her knowledge. On top of hair care & styling, she also has her on handbag line called Jul's Collections where she designs custom Italian Leather Handbags and also creates custom wigs under her Jul's Hair Collections line! This woman is living her dream and worth knowing - even if you are just getting a haircut. Her confidence is contagious and magnetic! She knows how to deliver a lasting and positive impression on my life as well as many others.
Jul's Studios also occasionally offers workshops on how to take care of your hair that I have yet to attend!
Also, the salon is always clean, organized, and well decorated with good music playing in the background. I commend them for putting in effort to keeping the place on point!
I'm a natural customer and i follow Nikki from the other salon. My hair was damage and now im getting it back to being healthy. Nikki central Jersey natural hair stylist .She's the best .Great with hair care. I'm telling u if you wanna grow your hair she's the go to person and will use good product.
I have been a customer since Juls opened her doors. The staff is wonderful even when the place is busy they keep you moving. As for the service I get my hair done and can go without touching it for more than a week and it still looks fabulous.
A relative got her hair done here. It's a bit pricey but it was a really nice haircut. And the salon itself is nice and clean inside.
