  After seeing the Instagram page for Salon Jenesis and the beautiful results of many of their clients, I decided to trek the hour+ drive from Princeton because the vegan cruelty-free lifestyle is very important to me. I also wanted to treat myself to a great cut and color and have shiny hair. From reaching out to Ruby to getting an appointment just a few days later, to walking through the door and being greeted with nothing but genuine kindness and understanding, then being educated on habits and products before making any choices about what service to get done, and finally getting a fresh cut, chocolate glaze, and my 1st blowout, this was by far the best salon I have been to. The stylists are committed to starting your healthy hair lifestyle, not just profiting off of a single visit. The cherry on top is sharing values with the staff and having that quote-on- quote therapist talk with the barber. If you're considering booking an appointment and perusing these reviews, don't hesitate, just do it- you will be pleased. Thank you Ruby and Salon Jenesis!

  Ruby is amazing! & so is her personality. I have a very hard time trusting any hairdresser to cut/style/dye my hair, but my very first visit she blew me away with the results. Yesterday was my second appointment with her and I left even happier than my first visit. I live up north in the city area where there are millions of hairdressers, but I am willing to travel the hour to see her and get my hair done every time! Thank you!

  Got a beautiful transformation done by Jenna a few days ago! It came out better than I expected and the salon is so comfy and beautiful! Jenna was so sweet and she helped me make the right decision when it came to deciding what to do with my hair and went over the details on how the process would go and maintenance. I went from brassy ends to a gorgeous silver ash brown hair! What I liked was that she took her time , no shortcuts..and made sure that she got every inch covered ... above that she styled my hair so nicely! My mother went with Ashley and she was so down to earth and a sweet person and she did such an excellent job on her hair! Overall this is such a great salon and I'll be sure to come back.

  I called a week ago to ask a few questions because I had been thinking of doing something fun on my hair for a while. I have never permanently dyed or bleached my hair so I had thousands of questions. Ashley was kind enough to answer them all and set up a consultation in order to ease me into this process and journey that I was ready to embark. The day of my consultation came and I was welcomed and sat on chair to go over my concerns as well as all the questions I may have not gotten answered over the phone. Ashley was thorough and sweet enough to calm my nerves. Then and there I decided to pull the plug and go for it! Best decision ever because it was gorgeous! I had no idea how beautiful it would turn out but it truly did. I recommend this place to anyone that may be skeptical and is new at this or even those who have been doing it for a long time. I will definitely be returning and talking about this place for the months to come. Thank you Ashley!

  Jenna did my hair about a month ago and I’m obsessed! Such a modern stylish salon and the nicest girls! Everyone there was super friendly and made you feel really comfortable! Not to mention they rock at what they do!
