  Extremely content with the care of the Venetian Care & Rehab Center. My grandmother, Angelina, has been in this home for over 2 years and we are happy that she's in facility that feels like home. The majority of the staff is more than happy to help you with accommodations regarding your loved ones care. Additionally, my grandmother's brother was recently transferred from a home out-of-state and we have seen an immense difference in his overall mood. He is super happy with the activities provided and our family could not be more thankful for that positive change. Highly recommend this home for your loved one(s) and how attentive the staff is to their needs and are great in keeping in communication with you.

  The Venetian Cater Center was home for my loving mother Eunice Wojciechowski , a 70 year resident of South Amboy for well over a year. During that time frame I visited my mom very often as did my other family members. My moms care was at the top end of any facility I had been to in our county.
  Let me explain that I had alot of experience with several other care facilities as both my parents were in their mid 90's pefore they passed.
  I also was a trained NJ Volunteer Ombudsman and had visited several other facilities along with the experience of the ones my parents rehabed in during thier lifetime journey.
  The Venetian was the absolute best. When I say this, I dont mean they passed by any small measure- they were amazing!
  My mom's life was energized with dignity and loving care till she passed away there in March 2018.
  The Venitian has excellent management and care staff. Anytime we visited, and that was often, we observed not only my moms care, but the care for others. This is not any easy job and I watched how the staff really worked hard to manage the care of each person as an individual, as a person.
  The Adminstrators and managers were very kind, considerate and helpful through each step of the journey that was required when a parents life is in decline.
  My brothers and sister loved that my mom could be at the Venetian Care Center with such well trained caring folks in a beautiful, clean and modern care facilty.
  My family had care for both my parents at their home for years, but it became unsustainable due to the extreme needs of Edler care.
  I have experienced so many birthday partys that the Venetian staff happily provide for their residents. The holiday parties and daily activities.
  Getting old is a difficult process , but I believe the Venetian is offering the very best in care and lifestyle for this period in our life.
  I always sat with my mom and talked to other resident neighbors there and so many were happy and loved their friends -the nurses and caregivers.
  I cannot thank the Venetian enough! Even the evening my mom passed they were such a loving force for us. I felt when we left the Venetian with mom, we left a part of my family behind, because they were so kind to us all .....always.
  Thank you for every day you loved and cared for our mom. Mom's life was enriched by you all and so were ours.
  Thank you all- we will always be grateful.

  My mother was a guest at the Venetian for the last stages of her life. I cannot say enough good thing about the place. The loving care she received and the visitation they allowed made the passing of Mom as pleasant as such and event could be.

  The Venetian is a beautiful and clean facility with an attentive nursing staff and very dedicated Administrative staff. The facility is located centrally which made the commute very easy when visiting my Grandmother and Step Father who were residents at different times. Both of my family members raved about the great care and relationships that they created with the staff and other residents. The menu options and quality of the food were a great addition to the warm, personal atmosphere. If you have to make the tough decision of choosing a rehab /long term care for your loved one, The Venetian is a top choice!

  Our daughter, Lori, has been a patient at the Venetian for a few years, having moved there from the Briarwood. We have been very pleased with the care she has received and the personal attention given her by the staff. The facility is bright and cheery and we all love the birds in the lobby downstairs. There is a lovely courtyard in the back where Lori likes to sit on sunny days to be outdoors and enjoy the flowers. We would recommend the Venetian to anyone.
