Making Waves Swim School

Amazing experience at Making Waves! Ms. Cynthia is my kids' instructor—she's knowledgeable, patient, and very open to feedback. Both of my kids, who are at different levels, receive excellent individualized attention. Whether you're a beginner or looking to improve your skills, this is the place to be. Highly recommend!

We are glad that we found Making Waves! My 4-year-old has been making so much progress since she started lessons with Ms Maddy! Ms Maddy is very knowledgeable, patient, and friendly. She is able to meet children where they are and help them become comfortable in the water. The staff, Joe and Megan, at Making Waves have always been friendly and helpful! They always respond to my emails promptly. I've already signed up for lessons for the fall and the spring!

Swimming is an essential life skill, and it was important for us that our daughter learned it effectively. We had previously enrolled her in other swimming programs, but she never enjoyed the classes and considered them a chore. However, everything changed when she started with Making Waves Swim School.

Ms. Maddie immediately put our daughter at ease with her gentle and focused teaching style. Now, our daughter eagerly looks forward to each class and has made incredible progress. She can swim independently now, and we couldn't be prouder.

Inspired by her positive experience, I decided to join Making Waves for classes as well. It's been a fantastic experience for both of us, and we are grateful for the excellent instruction and welcoming atmosphere.

I’ve been coming to Making Waves Swim school for about three years now. All 3 of my boys have taken lessons with Ms. Skylar and I couldn’t be happier with the lessons we have received. Skylar is not only professional in her lessons with my boys (that are all at completely different swim levels) but she makes their sessions fun and exciting. We all love coming each week and plan to continue for as long as we can! The staff members are always very accommodating when I need to make up sessions and they always answer my emails and phone calls in a timely fashion. My sister in law now also brings her two kids to Skylar as well! Highly recommend!

I enrolled my five year old son to learn how to swim two years ago. Today, he continues to attend Making Waves and is a strong swimmer at the age of seven. He continues his lessons because he loves his swim instructor and enjoys each session. My son was able to learn how to swim independently after only two lessons! We are extremely pleased with his instructor. Not only is he affective at teaching swim skills, he is also caring and fun! The Monroe location is perfect for us and is conveniently located to us and also by the turnpike entrance. We love the private swim coaching as opposed to group class settings and value the one to one time with our instructor. Even though our son is a strong swimmer, he still looks forward to attending his lessons and learning more each week! We highly recommend Making Waves swim school! Mr James is the best instructor and Megan is always helpful in helping with our scheduling questions! They’re the best.
