Today at 2:16 pm someone stole my sons Christmas present off my porch. I have the ring door bell which caught everything on camera. I was waiting for my daughter to get out school when I pulled away to see if I was able to confront the the gentleman who stole my package. He has left the scene I drove down my street to find him walking and confronted him about my package he denied everything even though I had him on camera. I call SP PD dispatch was amazing responding and making sure they received all the information about the person. I followed over to a place where one went inside and as I pulled up I had a bunch of officers ready to go. Helped me so much and they got those evil people! Thank you so much for everything and helping! Fast response great officers! Thank you again South Plainfield Police Department! Keep up the amazing work and keeping our town safe!
It was unfortunate to have the South Plainfield police address a situation in my home but the officers, including Officer Frank DeBiase, were very cordial and professional in handling our dilemma. We thank you for your assistance and apologize for the incident.
