(December 25, 2018, 8:51 am)Wonderful welcoming community. If you want to come to a church that deputies the essence of Christianity, it's here. Father John, Father Joe, and Father Bede are a treasure of love and compassion. The school is a wonderful nurturing place to send your kids as well. I've reaped so much from this church and community, I would encourage anyone to come give it a try.

(June 11, 2016, 11:33 am)My family are parishioners of SJV for over 25 years. All my kids went to school here and made a lot of friends. It's a welcoming parish community.
There's Adoration of the blessed sacrament right after Saturday morning mass (except when there is a funeral mass)
Don't the miss parish carnival held on the 3rd week of June - plenty of rides, food and beer. It's the biggest carnival in the area. Be sure to try the zeppole(Italian pastry - ball of deep fried dough sprinkled with powdered sugar)
