“First time home owners here. We had many apprehensions going through the process...and we have been very pleased with Vital Abstract. Raja -My first call with him was elaborate and comprehensive. He did not rush me and was very responsive to my questions and apprehensions. He confidently told me that he will surprise me with his turn around time...and he did. To put in a nutshell - His game was on point. What he said, he did. In fact, he was taking care of our closing while on vacation (while on a 9.5 hour timezone difference). Extremely reliable -solid dude. Sandhya- Special thanks to her. She answered my last minute concerns very patiently and politely. We had some unexpected challenges with closing date , and Sandhya was able to re-calibrate the closing smoothly. We have much to thank her for. Extremely patient and efficient. The closing agent (I think the gentleman's name was John) was excellent. Very patient man...did not rush us...made sure we understood everything ...felt very comfortable dealing with the process. Consider asking for him as your closer. PLS NOTE: Also do consider using Vital Abstract as your settlement agents. The cost of settlement is included in the estimate. Absolutely NO nickel and diming on the part of the vital abstract. The difference between their first estimate and the final cost was 22$ . This has to be some kinda record. FIRST TIME BUYERS..>> PLS NOTE: Attorney's generally prefer to use their own "preferred" title companies because they claim to have good relationships with them and assure "quickness" (and new buyers will go through a very subliminal arm-twisting from their attorneys in choosing the title company). Such title companies (from my sample size), were more expensive than VItal Abstract (with the potential for hidden charges). We chose to look for our own title agency ..Vital Abstract had better pricing and had ABSOLUTELY NOTHING to do with my Attorneys office. But still, they were able to so quick and thorough, in fact it was the attorneys (The sellers' and ours) who were trying to catch up with Vital Abstract at the finish line. So if you found this agency on your own, then rest assured you are in good hands. (TL;DR version) Efficient honest agency. Strongly recommend them....and we wish them well :)”
