Working with Kait and Roam Travel to plan our honeymoon was the best decision we made. The amount of time that was saved in research and planning took the headache out of not being a travel expert. I was impressed with the thoughtful approach and overall service provided. They gave us many options based on the initial information gathered and discussed each one in depth. There was communication with Roam before, during and after the trip to ensure all was going as planned from the flights, to hotel and all the activities that were planned. A huge plus was they were the expert of our destination; of all the hotels and resorts available we found out from the locals later on during our trip we were at one of the best resorts and locations on the island. My husband and I had an excellent experience with Roam travel! Kait took the time to get to know exactly what we wanted out of honeymoon, and found us the perfect resort in Negril, Jamaica. Roam travel removed all the stress of planning and Kait was proactive throughout the entire process. Roam Travel can be summed up in two words.
Care and service. The level of service and care they provide is stellar. The relationships they have worldwide provide for the best experience. From planning your itinerary, to making airline arrangements, lodging, pick up service, to activities specific to your particular needs, nothing I’ve experienced comes close to their level of service and standard of care. At the beginning of March in 2019, we were in Patagonia and unaware of the exponential expansion of the COVID virus. We came back from a hike and the staff at Tierra Patagonia ran out to our jeep and informed us we needed to call Roam Travel right away. As borders and airports were closing rapidly around us, we had to get out pretty darn fast. The team at Roam Travel took care of everything. On our four hour journey to the airport in Punta Arenas, everyone on the bus was freaking out about how to get home, nobody had air transport back to the States, except us. You know the value of your travel consultant when you see everyone else around you freaking out, wondering how they’re going to get home, and you are comfortable in the knowledge that everything has been taken care of for you. Even in an emergency situation. In an emergency situation, or any other speed bump in the road you might encounter in your travels, it is so comforting to know that Roam Travel has your back and will take care of you.
