  I got my associates here before going on to get my Bachelor's of Science at a 4 year University. The teachers at Brookdale are amazing, and most are genuinely invested in their students education and success. The teachers were often better than what I experienced at my 4 year University, where professors are focused on research and not the students. Going here first was the best decision I could have made, for both my education and my wallet.

  It is the best community college in NJ and especially great for starters who are from overseas.

  Quality education for a great price. I had a number of professors say they were teaching the same exact class that they taught at other 4 year schools, for a fraction of the price. If you're undecided, or looking to save some money and get the 'basics' out of the way, check it out.

  I graduated from Brookdale's Nursing program in 1979. I obtained my RN and 9 years later became certified in massage therapy. I have juggled both fields ever since. Now I teach in the massage therapy program. I feel very blessed to have the base of knowledge in both conventional and holistic medicine to share with the students. Brookdale offers it's students affordable tuition, counseling and job placement services that are above and beyond any comparable programs. When scanning through the reviews please keep in mind that the massage program is under the dept of business and career development. This is quite separate from the credited courses. Look for reviews on the massage program itself.
