Family Practice of Middletown

I highly recommend this family of doctors and employees. Even when you call, they are so concerned, friendly and efficent. My experiences are mostly with Dr. Giacona and Dr. Thompson.

Dr. Giacona is so attentive and personable and really listens. I have been with her for well over 20 years. She is awesome!

Dr.Thompson/Giacona were especially amazing to me when my daughter caught covid during the early onset. They used their former office space for a place where people who were sympomatic could be seen.

They saved my daughter's life. I took her there, and the next day, Dr. Thompson called and said, (over a weekend), I want you to take her to get another chest xray. Infection had doubled. Dr. T immediately adjusted meds and told us to bring her in next day.

When I took my daughter back then next morning, she could barely walk up the stairs from out den. I had her secluded. We pulled up and Giacona evaulated her and quickly turned her back to me and said to go right to the hospital. If Dr. Thompson/Giacona hadn't insist we follow up, she would have died in my den. They showed up when a lot of doctors were refusing covid patients. I'm eternally grateful to them and all of the wonderful staff. I know they saved my daughter.

I have been a patient of Family Practice since 2000. I have always had a great experience, never had an issue with scheduling an appointment or seeing the Dr on a days notice. The entire staff has always been informative and helpful, whether it be to speak with the nurse or answer a billing question. Recently, Anna was very helpful in setting me up to see Dr G,. She was very friendly, courteous and made me feel very comfortable. I would highly recommend Family Practice of Middletown to any one who is looking for a very good family medical practice.

I have been coming to this practice for many years with no complaints. My last two visits were with Dr. Fenichel. I am very impressed with this Dr. He spent time listening to my concerns and was very thorough. I know he took time with the patients before me, even though the wait was brief. I will definitely ask for him in the future.

Today was my first visit at Family Practice with Dr. Gold and I couldn't have felt more comfortable or taken care of. The appointment was effortless. I found Dr. Gold to be warm, interested and thorough, and the staff friendly, courteous and professional. Also being able to have blood work and an EKG done on premises was an additional bonus. My intention today was to find a new doctor to handle any medical attention I may need going forward, someone i felt confident and at ease with and Dr. Gold and the staff of Family Practice provided just that.
