(August 20, 2018, 12:30 pm)Couldn't be happier with this camp. The staff treats my kids very well. It is a very low key atmosphere. There are no airs amongst the people and families there. Also it is nice to have the convenience of before and after hours for the campers who need it.

There were plenty of activities to keep the kids busy AND interested, and there were areas we didn't even access so the typical child would have to be there for a while before they could hope to claim boredom. The lunch provided was tasty and there were many selections to choose from, like hot dogs, green salad, chicken nuggets, black bean burgers, fresh fruit plus good drink and snack options. There were also large refrigerators stocked with bottled water the kids could access all day. I chatted with camp employee Lucious (sp?) and I could tell he loved working there. I mentioned that I would never be able to afford the camp and he suggested many different ways the camp has worked with people so their kids could attend. I am excited at the thought that mine may actually get to go, and my son is, too because he loved Black Bear as much as I did.
