My child has been a patient of one of the doctors here for over a decade. He is a fantastic doctor. Very gentle and wonderful.
However, the front desk needs some sprucing up. Here are a few suggestions:
1) Please do not call a patient's parents "mom" and "dad". We are not your parents. "Mom - I will take your co-pay now." is unprofessional and insulting.
2) If you call someone more than 2 months before their appointment to cancel and cannot reach them, try again! Do not let them show up and then shove the paper in their face saying you called two months ago and could not reach them. Call them again, mail them a card, try their cell phone (and my spouse said he has given it to you at least five times).
