This was such an incredibly moving retreat, and Debi and Alan are just really amazing, kind, and warm facilitators of this learning experience. It can be difficult to sustain a deep, loving relationship and even the best of couples need to show courage to be vulnerable and open with one another. I would highly recommend this to any couple and as an EFT Therapist, I wish all of my clients would attend one of these!
The workshop is a fantastic experience. Alan and Debi do an amazing job connecting with the participants and providing an experiential weekend that is truly life changing even when the event is held virtually. As a practicing therapist, I have no hesitation referring my clients to these events whether virtual or live.
I am a couples therapist, in St. Peters, MO, and had the honor of serving as a helper therapist at the first virtual Hold me Tight workshop. I was so moved by the incredible progress I saw in the couples in attendance, and was so impressed with workshop. It was powerful, emotionally safe, engaging, and informative. Debi and Alan are so passionate about what they do, and bring everything to the table. It was inspiring on so many levels. I highly recommend this training to any couple. Whether you are feeling pretty good and just want to enrich your relationship or if you are feeling like things might end soon, you can get so much out of this. I saw amazing things from couples at every end of the spectrum, and saw so much hope emerge, from couples who were struggling so much at the beginning of the 2 days. It is SO worth it.
My husband and I are in the process of healing a rift in our new marriage. Because of this incredibly profound workshop and from working directly with Alan, we have been able to save our marriage. As a matter of fact, our relationship has reached new levels of intimacy, vulnerability, honesty and closeness that we never had before. We are unbelievably grateful for Alan and Debi's work, because nothing else would have worked. The Hold Me Tight Workshop and Emotionally Focused Therapy helped me and my husband go deep into our own vulnerabilities and find our way back to one another. Rather than being at odds...with me erupting in anger and him shutting down...we are now turning to each other to heal our wounds. And, we watched MULTIPLE couples experiencing the same breakthroughs and insights and gaining HOPE about their relationships over the course of the two days. It was truly incredible. What a gift! We both shed tears of gratitude at the end. I HIGHLY recommend the work of Debi and Alan or ANY HMT workshop to any and all couples--no matter where you are in your relationship or how far gone you think it is--this works! Plus, it is clinically proven to work with long lasting results. Just look up Dr. Sue Johnson's work in EFT. If you are on the fence, please know it is worth the investment of your time and money. You will not be disappointed. Much gratitude to Debi and Alan and the incredible job they do in creating a safe place full of trust and compassion to recreate your relationship on new terms. Needless to say, I highly recommend.
My husband and I have been married for over 30 years. Although we are very happily married, there’s always room for improvement. We signed up and attended the HMT workshop and we were extremely impressed with what can be achieved in a 2 day event. We highly recommend this to any couple no matter how long you’ve been together and no matter how great or challenged your relationship may be. For us, it was an absolutely fabulous experience and we now have the tools to continue to deepen our connection to each other. Thank you Debi and Alan for an awesome workshop!!!
