This place is great. Lots of equipment. Great teacher. Great guy. Lots of good puppers. Overall great experience.
I am a graduate of Skylab Studio’s audio engineering program. It was a very comprehensive and insightful course that covered all important subjects within the field. I elected to complete the full course, which lasted roughly 6-8 months.
Major topics covered included in-the-box mixing and mastering utilizing Pro Tools software, in addition to advanced microphone technique. The final project to gain a certificate entailed the mix and master of a 8 piece band. If you are looking to gain an introduction into audio engineering or further develop your skills, I strongly recommend this course.
Dan is extremely professional and helpful! He gave great singing advice to me as well, that helped create the best recording possible! I’ve been happy with every session we’ve had!

Been coming here for 8 years now. Worked on everything from acoustic mixes to heavy rock and each time I am just as satisfied as the last. Mr. Skye knows his stuff and his attitude always makes for a pleasant experience.
