  It's a great place to go and hike trails for a while. The trails stay very muddy and form large puddles after the rain due to poor drainage so bring waterproof hiking boots if it has rained in the last few days. Even far into the woods you won't completely escape the sounds of the parkway here. The recreation areas are nice and appear to be well kept.

  Be careful as I heard there are sharks in the river, otherwise it's a lovely place to spend a hot summer Sunday afternoon with the family.

  Great park for the whole family and friends to gather for numerous kinds of activities and fun! Shade trees are beautiful. Multi-purpose Sport Fields are well designed and well groomed. Parking lot are easy drive in and drive out, and very accessable to your desired field. Excellent! ????& ✌

  Lots of little trails to explore. Is a good place for getting out of the house and walking around in the woods. The history of the Shark River is interesting- recommend looking it up. There's a cross country running trail that I believe could also be used for skiing- but didn't look too much into it.
