  We have been using Tom Rostron Co.
  for several years now...no matter what happens they respond in a timely, friendly manner. Their work is excellent and prices fair. Had winter check up today. The scheduling and follow up with Siobhan was polite and on target.
  George arrived exactly on time this morning was friendly informative and clean...they cover their shoes!!!
  Highly recommend this company.

  Today we used this company for duct system cleaning. From beginning to end, I cannot give enough praise. Upon initially calling, the woman taking calls was cordial, competent and up front with not only costs, but also info about the cleaning and setting up our appointment. Our service tech, James M. was such a great guy! He was extremely professional but personable, thorough with his work, and was more than willing to answer any questions throughout the process. The job was done thoroughly in a timely manner and I am extremely happy of the results. I highly recommend James and would hire him again without question. Thank you for a job well done!

  Bill did my estimate and Lou and Connor did my installation. Bill didn't use a hard sell and gave me a fair price. He ultimately got the installation scheduled for a date earlier than originally promised. Since I had already signed up they had no incentive to move up my installation date but they did it anyway. That is a sign of a good company. They went the extra mile AFTER you are already signed up. Excellent customer service from the first phone call to the time the installers left my house. They all showed up exactly on time, were polite and the installers left the work area cleaner than they found it. They installed a new boiler. Within an hour of when they left my house it was a very comfortable 68 degrees. I would call them again in the future without hesitation.

  I have a Mr Slim split type air conditioner to heat / cool my basement. It has worked great but I have had some issues with the pump for the air conditioner portion of the unit. James C came to my home yesterday and explained, 3 different ways, to help me understand why the unit is having these issues. Instead of just replacing the part he offered multiple ways to address the issue I am experiencing. I am reviewing my options and will have James repair once I make the decision. Thank you James for your patience and sharing ideas so my experience with this unit is better.

  We cannot say enough about our service technician James C. Our compressor broke and had a major leak. The manufacturer believed the warranty had expired. James prompted us to search our records for our copy of the warranty, which proved the unit was still covered. This saved us from a huge multi-thousand dollar repair or total replacement. The value of that kind of honest concern cannot be underestimated. The repair is complete, the unit seems to be working fine, and we are once again, cool. :-) Thank you James! You were a great help, and you do Tom Rostron Co proud.
  
  My family has been a Rostron customer for over thirty years. My mother, who passed away number of years ago , had serious respiratory disease, and had great difficulty breathing in the summer. Tom Rostron Sr. knew this, and made sure any problems with her air conditioning were dealt with immediately, any time of day or night. Problems did not occur often, but they were always fixed within hours. This is a good, local company to deal with.
