But don't come here just because you get a great physical yoga class to suit your skill level. I've been doing yoga for 20+ years, around the world, in NYC, you name it. I'm adventurous with my yoga - I want classes that are challenging and not routine, sometimes I want to sweat and sometimes I need a more restorative experience. At Soul Power Yoga, the instructors have worked really hard to know ME and make sure I get what I need in each class. They figure out what I need before I do. How? They pay attention to me. A gentle correction, a push out of my comfort zone, a suggestion to take it easy on myself, each when I need it. We all have ups/downs, and this is a place where people can use yoga to restore their spirit as well as the body. Getting help with my tight hips is great. Getting help with my internal voice is priceless. Isn't that the essence of yoga?”
