“My mother has been twice to Applewood Rehab in the past year. The first time after she broke her right hip and then again when she broke her left hip. Our experience with Applewood has been great both times. Returning the second time was very comforting after having been there before. Staff were compassionate and caring and went above and beyond the issue with her hip to help our mother. This past visit, the director of therapies, Rhonda, was especially helpful working on feeding diets and spending a lot of time one-on-one with our mother. It was very heartening and appreciated! Applewood Rehab is part of the larger Applewood Assisted Living facility and has a spacious common facilities, outdoor space for visiting and other amenities. The admissions director was very welcoming the first time and remembered us on return visit. She was also in the dining hall helping to feed the nursing home patients on Mother's Day. That's the kind of care people get at Applewood. When we were looking for rehab facilities last fall, we didn't know what to expect. We are happy that we choose Applewood. We hope we don't have to go again and if we do, we are confident that mom will receive the care she needs.”

“Great haircut. I hate going to new barbers but I figured I give this place a try because my usual barber is going to be out a while. So first thing barely a wait. I signed in and sat for maybe 5 minutes. Next is the thing that really got me. I told her how I like my hair cut, now it was a change of style and a lot was being cut. When this happens I feel like most places they ask you how you like your hair cut and they nod and just give you a shorter version of what you have. However the main thing is not only did she listen when I told her I wanted it buzzed with a three on the side she didn't just say ok, she took the time to tell me that her three is shorter than most and made sure that's what I wanted. I also don't talk much do during my haircut and she never tried to force conversation which is also a plus for me. All in all it was great and I think I'm going to keep going back there.”
