“The place is no frills and cheap. Decent egg sandwiches and coffee for morning get up. They get pretty busy so stuff shouldn't get stale or old. Never had lunch sandwiches from there but supposed to be as decent and cheap as breakfast options so worth a try if you're nearby.”

“It is a shame the Blue Grotto will be closing for the season soon.. as this is a new discovery. The bar pies are amazing we have tried 3 different ones. The atmosphere is great inside and outside. The band area is quite nice. The seating is great the outside couches are very comfortable. Everything is arranged so you are kept out of the Sun for the most part if you choose. The menu is good the bartenders are good. Also being able to bet on the race makes it a plus... Next season it will get my business for parties and general get-togethers.”

“We eat out frequently and this is our favorite restaurant. The food is excellent and is always fresh, delicious and made to order. The taste is authentic Turkish. We enjoy Turkish food and have tried many other Turkish restaurants in NJ and Galata by far is the best one. There are many vegetarian dishes such as a delicious variety of salads and meat free main courses. They serve authentic Turkish tea and coffee. The service is always friendly and the prices are reasonable. This is a wonderful break from Italian and diner food. A real gem in NJ !”

“I've been going to Grand China Buffet for years, given it's not as good as it used to be like other reviews say. I'd have to agree, because I've been going here since I was a kid. However I'm reviewing this on a newcomers standpoint, if you have never been here before. And you are looking to go. I recommend if you don't want to spend too much money, go during the lunch hours which is between 11 to 3:30. One person and a drink is about $12, and for an all-you-can-eat buffet you really can't beat that. The servers are like a hawk, when it comes to watching your drink. If you even take a sip of that drink, they will fill it for you. Not a lot of places take time to really watch if your drink needs to be filled, to be honest that's probably a business practice that they use but it's okay. As far as food selection goes, there is a lot of food to choose from, they have sushi out. So if you like sushi, you could eat a whole bunch of it, and get your money's worth. That's what I usually do when I eat here, they have other food like sesame chicken, General Tso's chicken, sweet and sour chicken, dumplings. Too much to list here, but a lot to select from. The dinner special, has crabs out that go like wildfire so you have to get them quickly, I recommend if you come to the dinner special, get the crab, because crab is usually expensive and you will get your money's worth. Also I recommend the Hibachi chicken during dinner time, it's very sweet and crispy. given the food isn't perfect quality-wise, you usually get your money's worth when you come here. I have no complaints, the only complaint I can use is that used to be better, however that shouldn't matter because this is a review not for me to bash on the place, but a review for you. I definitely recommend this place.”

“I eat breakfast or lunch at Manalapan Luncheonette at least once a week. Don't judge the place by the unpaved parking lot and ramshackle looking building. I've been a happy customer for many years. I can think of few restaurants that serve such good food at such low prices Ina collegial pleasant atmosphere. Tony, the owner, and his son Nick are accomplished cooks. They make me feel at home. I joke with Tony my car GPS locks onto his address on its own so I have no choice but to stop in! Prices are low and portions are generous. I'm sure you will enjoy eating at Manalapan Luncheonette. I rarely write reviews. When I do, the review is a positive one that has been well-earned.”

Still a all around great place for family and friends. Absolutely has the best food, at the best prices. “Brought a big and hungry crew in from Minnesota and Michigan for a day at the beach. We didn't have time for one of those fancy tourist places along the waterfront. So a quick search of Google gave us Rockafellers as an option. Not knowing what to expect, we called - they got our whole crew in right away. Awesome pizza from an actual neighborhood restaurant (not a chain). Great and friendly service. They made us feel at home. Tonight wound up being one of those happenstance finds. A great place where we had fabulous food and a fun way to close out a long, tiring day at the beach and close out a week's vacation in unexpected fashion. We want to come back sometime!”
