“I recently indulged in takeout from Sakura Sushi in Manalapan, and I must say, my taste buds were in for a treat. While the menu boasted an extensive selection of classic Japanese dishes, I couldn't resist indulging in a few staples. Here's the lowdown on what I ordered: The chicken teriyaki was undoubtedly the highlight of the meal, with a perfect blend of savory and sweet flavors that left me wanting more. I'd give it a solid 4 out of 5 stars. The katsudon, while tasty, wasn't quite as impressive as the teriyaki. The pork cutlet was cooked to perfection, but the dish lacked a certain depth of flavor that would have elevated it to the next level. I'd give it a 3.5 out of 5 stars. Moving on to the sushi, the Philly roll was decent, but nothing to write home about. The same can be said for the spicy tuna and salmon rolls, which were fresh but not exceptional. Each of these rolls garnered a 3.5 out of 5 stars from me. Unfortunately, the kani salad was a bit of a letdown. While the dish had potential, the lack of masago and flavor left me feeling underwhelmed. I'd give it a 3 out of 5 stars. The miso soup and house salad were both decent, but again, nothing to write home about. Each dish received a 3.5 out of 5 stars. While the food was certainly enjoyable, I couldn't help but notice that it didn't seem as fresh as it could have been. Compared to other sushi places I've dined at, Sakura Sushi fell a bit short in this department. All things considered, I'd give Sakura Sushi a respectable 3.5 out of 5 stars. While there were certainly highlights, the food as a whole didn't quite reach the level of excellence I was hoping for.”

“Frederico's is a must visit when you're in the area! The pizza is awesome with the semolina crust and you must try the Kouign-amann (sounds like queen aman) dessert. My favorites are the breakfast pizza slices and any of the chicken pizza slices. I've had their sandwiches too and they were great with nice portion sizes, good mix of toppings, and always super fresh. The owners & staff are super friendly and seem to know everyone's name. That kind of warm service is much appreciated!”

“We used to go to Frank’s in Asbury and one day I wanted to try something different another place Danny’s place we love it. The food on a scale from 1 to 10 is 11. The sandwiches are delicious. “First time here. The pasta is homemade and exquisite. The atmosphere is subtle and very welcoming. The food is delicious. Saturdays they have jazz music playing after 6 and I enjoyed the two person jazz band. Very relaxed and not feeling rushed at all. My only complaint is that as the sun went down the lighting got dimmer. I wouldn't have changed the lighting at all. My dinner was a homemade spinach and ricotta cheese gnocchi over melted butter. I love gnocchi but this was by far the most unique and flavorful I've ever had. Normally gnocchi dishes are heavy, this was not. Highly recommend.”

Drinks, my current favorite is the coconut water with coconut meat. Also try the traditional Thai iced tea or the Thai tea with lime juice. Apps, I love the curry puffs. The pastry is very light and the stuffing is delish! Actually get the Moo Yai sampler and that will include the puffs, chicken satay, pork skewers and dumplings. Dumplings by the way has good portion of ground pork. Let me just state my favorite dishes Pad Thai chicken Steak salad Coconut soup with chicken Pineapple fried rice Seafood fried rice (good portion of crab meat!) Specials (dine in only) Steak cut in strips Crispy duck Pork cooked 2 ways Chicken with peanut sauce (similar to chicken satay) Garlic shrimp which is the number one favorite special Desserts you both enjoy the fried bananas and mango sticky rice. I started off looking for restaurants that were within our route, came across Off The Grill read some reviews and thought eh, they can’t live up to all the hype I’m reading… well let me tell you, they did and then some. I ordered the pastrami roll, hubby ordered the bacon egg and cheese sandwich and baby boy had tenders and fries. Everything was made to perfection, fries were perfectly salted, flavor of both our sandwiches were on point. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful, they recommended different spicy sauces I can put on my pastrami sandwich since I wanted horseradish and they did not have it. This place is awesome… you don’t get service like this anymore, that’s for sure.”

“The service was a little slow, but that was because the restaurant was also hosting two private parties at the same time we were dining, so it was understandable. I loved the Marina view, and we were indeed treated to a fabulous sunset while there.
