The food was delicious, We had the salmon with garlic spinach sauce and the butternut squash soup. This will definitely be one of our favorite spots to eat healthy food. The best thing about this restaurant is that it serves the community with delicious and healthy food no one is turned away because of lack of money but encouraged to volunteer their time. Hear me out: the staff is extraordinary friendly, the interior dining space is large, the crispy buffalo wings are some of the best I've ever had, the garlic knots are better than 90% of those out there, the prices are relatively low, and best of all? As someone from a large pizza capital in America, New York City, the pizza is also great. I especially recommend their pepperoni pizza because it's not like one of those large pepperonis that some stores just throw on; their pepperoni is cooked to a crisp and extremely oily. Highly recommended!”

“The owners are super nice. Bumped into them when I was ordering a pizza for take out. Had a nice chat with them. Ended up coming back per their recommendation to try out the restaurant food and entrees. Pretty good. Will definitely be coming back to try other items. Most places skimp on the salad when the meal comes with it but La Dona did a good job. Their pizzas are fantastic, and I had the chicken Parm entree. Big portion and their tomato sauce is delicious!”

“Sarah was a great waitress! Cheerful and attentive! The roasted sea bass was divine. The view of the Navesink river was beautiful. The main seating area is a little loud. The upstairs is much quieter, but hard to reserve. We arrived at 11am. The main dining room was empty except for a huge table with teenagers and we were seated right next to them. When I requested a different table the maitre'd seemed irritated and said every table was reserved. In an empty restaurant I don't understand the logic of seating a quiet party of 2 next to a huge load party of 10! She seemed resentful to seat us elsewhere. Very disappointed in her attitude. In the service industry being of service is an undervalued virtue. Instead of being positive, smiling and saying "let me see what we can do!", She had a horrible attitude. Thank God Sarah made up for it with charm and kindness!”
