Out of the Box Physical Therapy

I highly recommend Out of the Box Physical Therapy! I went to Jesse with a herniated disc that negatively affected my everyday life and caused constant pain when I worked out. Other therapists tried to convince me to find another form of exercise that wasn't so harsh on my body. This was devastating news for me. I was so frustrated and discouraged, but Jesse had a different approach. He encouraged me to continue doing what I love safely with proper form, corrective exercise, and stretching techniques. I gained tremendous knowledge from him after each visit, and I still utilize it daily. Today I can lift pain-free! Jesse completely transformed my life, and I am forever grateful! About 4 years ago, I herniated a disc in my back a week before a golf trip…Jesse to the rescue! I could barely walk without pain, let alone swing a golf club, but after just a week working with Jesse I was able to play 4 rounds of golf that very next week. He is not only a great PT, but he’s a teacher during the process. It’s important to him that you understand the how/why of every exercise, and he does it in a way that’s easily consumable. I’m now 4 years removed from that herniated disc and I have a playbook on how to make sure I remain pain-free thanks to Jesse. Jesse and Hanna have a wonderful operation, and I would trust either of them with my life. The best clinic in the area, run by the best people!

I don’t even have enough kind words to say about OTB physical therapy. Jesse and Hanna are professional, caring and most of all they listen to you. I’ve been to many physical therapists in the past and all told me that I should not continue to run or work out (something I love doing)… Jesse never once tried to tell me to stop and instead encouraged me and found ways that I could still run and workout without increasing my back pain. This is the first time I feel like I can go to PT and actually get a workout in, instead of just laying on a ball or picking up marbles. Jesse and Hanna work hard to get you where you want to be. Now being pregnant, my schedule is quite crazy and they work with me to ensure that I am still being seen and getting the proper and appropriate care that I need. I drive 40 minutes to an hour for treatment and I wouldn’t have it any other way. The only place I’ll ever go for treatment and you should too. I will always recommend OTB physical therapy, 100%.

Out of the Box is a unique Physical Therapy office, with incredible Doctors of Physical Therapy and wonderful support staff. The office is well equipped, immaculate, friendly, and attractive but the real advantage is the highly skilled and creative Physical therapists. I have worked mostly with Dr. Nick and some with Dr. Jesse and have had opportunities to watch Dr Hannah in action. Each of them tailors the treatment to the individual client and specific injury. The sessions are unique, creative, FUN, challenging and more effective than other physical therapy sessions I have had in the past. Since I had to be out of town a good bit during my treatment, Dr Nick would use my phone to video me doing a couple of targeted stretches and exercises so I would not lose ground during my absence. I am almost complete with my journey for a hip related injury and for the first time in a couple of years, I am pain free and staying that way as I reintroduce activities that used to cause pain. I know the treatment has actually left me stronger than I was before the injury. I strongly recommend Out of the Box!!!

I can’t say enough great things about OTB! Jesse and Hanna are two of the nicest people you could meet. This carries over to their whole practice/facility, with the wonderful warm and comfortable atmosphere they have created. While Jesse is the one that I have worked directly with most recently, the level of care and professionalism is the same with everyone. I’ve been seeing Jesse on and off for the last couple of years. As a competitive masters CrossFit athlete, my body has been put through a lot and I’ve had my share of injuries, especially in the last two years. Jesse has helped me rehab them all (knees, shoulder, hip), getting me back to doing what I love. Even at the competitive level I didn’t think I could get back to! So thankful for all their care at OTB. Highly recommend them, they are the best hands down!!
