Perfect Ten Physical Therapy

Dr. Sara Ferruzza is an incredible Physical Therapist and an extraordinary human being. If you have EDS, joint instability/hypermobility, muscle weakness or chronic pain… look no further, she is the best in her field. I have been under her care for the past five months, and its the best decision I have made for my health. Dr. F’s extensive knowledge of body awareness and understanding of the musculoskeletal system is truly amazing. I knew she was different than other doctors during my first visit/initial consult. She is extremely thorough, and always listens to all of my concerns regarding my health. She always educates me and is endlessly researching things for her own knowledge to better help her patients. I have never felt judged or criticized when speaking to her, and she truly knows that each individual, especially with EDS, is complex and very unique. I cannot explain the muscle strength and joint stability i have gained since starting physical therapy with her, it is definitely the most positive change compared to anything i have tried in the past. Growing up with scoliosis and joint instability, i was seeing chiropractors and acupuncturists for many years to deal with chronic pain, but i was tired of always of injuring myself doing simple daily activities or light exercise. Starting PT with Sara was the best decision I have made in a long time! Sara has been patient while educating me about how to best care for my body and it's unique issues. With Sara's carefully chosen exercises, guidance about changing my footwear, and tips about being more mindful of my hypermobility while in the gym, I have seen tremendous progress in just a few weeks! Since we started with another physical therapist, I thought for sure my daughter may need to stop doing gymnastics. She was just in a lot of pain and nothing was working. Once we went to Perfect Ten, things changed! I am so happy with her progress. Sara really listened to my daughter’s pain and her history and had such a good plan. The adjustments that she made in each session were so responsive to her needs. And that is why she made the progress that she made. After two fractures of the ankle growth plate, our daughter struggled with recurring pain, and her progress with gymnastics was stalled. After a diagnosis of Complex Regional Pain Syndrome, we were fortunate to find Dr. Sara Wynne. Dr. Wynne provided excellent one-on-one care and was so attuned to our daughter's symptoms and pain. Our daughter has been going to physical therapy for a couple of years and never felt it was making a difference, until she started working with Dr. Wynne. She's now back on track, has regained almost all of the skills she lost during her setback, and is progressing with greatly reduced pain. Dr. Wynne is kind and so perceptive of the body mechanics of gymnasts. She is 100% the reason my daughter is happy to be back in her sport.
