Morristown Taekwon-Do

My name is CJ Griffin. I am 27 years old.four years ago I started training at Morristown Tae Kwon Do and met Master Yeison De Los Santos, and my life was changed for the better.
I struggle with anxiety, focus, perseveration,and social interaction. MTKD has helped me find myself and gives me confidence in life. TKD has helped me to perceive things in a more positive manner. I have become more patient and focused in everything I do. I still struggle a lot but when I bring it all back to tkd philosophy, it calms me.
I have autism spectrum disorder and everyday things can be overwhelming for me. My mom had dinner many different activities through my life and I never wanted to stick with any of them not until I found Tae Kwon Do. I am so grateful for my fellow MTKD friends. I am especially grateful for Master Yeison, not only is he a great Tae Kwon Do Master and life teacher, but also my best friend. Thank you, Master Yeison, for believing in me and helping me!

You feel like family when your here it amazing

The club has a very nice environment with a strong sense of family. Once in it, you’re family forever. The people in the club are also some of the most caring people. I find myself enjoying the training, the people, and the club overall more and more everyday. The club generate champions and amazing martial artists.

The people in this club are very kind and affectionate. I don’t know if I would call it a club, because it feels more like a family.

Besides the people, I honestly feel as though I’ve learned valuable, practical martial art techniques. If I didn’t care about the people’s personalities, or the feeling of warmth that emits from them, I would go to MTKD for the knowledge that gets passed down from instructor to student.
